Flipside chapter update

It continues...now with her jeans, shirt, arm socks and skin colored. Probably going to add some blue tones to it later though so she interacts w/ the background a bit.

New flipside chapter

Sneak peak at the new chapter of flipside I'm coloring. Going a lil' more american comic airbrushy style for this one.

Robot on Violin

The process begins again! To make these faster I've been sketching in photoshop, then printing and lightboxing over to ink it (as my regular inks are more precise/controlled than my digi inks). Basically, this allows me to resize, skew, flip, rearrange, rotate, etc everything so that I save my poor erasers. And if I like a bit, and its the wrong size, its no biggie cuz I can just use the transform tool to get it the size it needs to be! ^^

Punkbot waiting for the show

So here's the basic sketch continuing my "Emotional Technology" series (yes, I totally ripped that off of BT) that started with this illustration. Title kinda says it all methinks.

Moghedian by the window2

So I've been having lots of fun working through this painting. Figure is complete, will work on background later. I know I should've really done background first, figure later, buutttt.....well, I like drawing people. Also added some detail shots for your viewing pleasure!

Moghedian 2

More messing around w/ the same style. Think I kinda like this one, though like the other one I have to wait to get on the desktop to see if the colors, intensity, and hues are correct. It really is impossible to calibrate the laptop's monitor correctly *sigh*

Moghedian color

So I was feeling a little better today, and decided to bust out the laptop and try coloring a little. The drawing's kinda wonky, but there's some good painterly bits--at least better than the crap I've posted so far. Only thing is that I'm not entirely sure how the colors look, since there's no way to properly calibrate the laptop's monitor. Anyways, enjoy Moghedian mark 2.
